  Neer Dosa is a common recipe in South karnataka homes.It's easy to make and healthy too. You can make tastier recipe in short time.Neer dosa also known as traditional dish. In udupi- mangalore kori- roti and kori sambar - Neer Dosa is a popular dish. It's a awesome combination.Even Neer dosa goes well with all sambar ,Chutneys. In our childhood days we ate Neer Dosa with freshly grated coconut and jagger mix,It's really yummy...😋.Neer dosa is a fluffy soft dish ,kids like very much.

Preparation time : 6 hr        cooking time : 10 mnts


Ingredients :
Rice - 1 cup
Fresh grated coconut - 1/4 cup
Water - required
Salt - to taste

Method :
1. Grind Rice,Coconut with some water to a fine paste.
2. Transfer to a bowl,add salt and more water.
3. The batter consistency should be Runny.
4. Take a Iron tava ,spread dosa batter equally  .
5. Dosa will comes like paper.
6. Cook onside only,flip and fold just remove it.


Note :
1. Dosa can make without coconut.
2. Iron tava is suitable for Neer dosa,otherwise you can use normal nonstick dosa tava. 

Easy Lemon Rice

Easy Lemon Rice 

Preparation time : 5 mnts         Cooking time : 5 mnts
Total time : 10 mnts                    Serves : 2-3


Ingredients :
Cooked rice - 1cup
Green chilly - 2
Coriender leaves -2 strings
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Jeera - 1/4 tsp
channa dal - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 string
Turmeric - a pinch (optional )
Lemon Rice masala - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2 tsp

Method :
1. Take a kadai heat oil add Mustard ,Jeera, channa dal fry well.
2. Add curry leaves,turmeric,green chilly,toss well.
3. Add Lemon Rice Powder and switch of the flame.
4. Add Cooked rice ,salt as per taste,Coriender leaves mix well.

5. Serve Lemon Rice with pickle ,Groundnut / shenga Chutney pudi/podi

Note:
1. You can use night leftover Rice ,it will reduce your work and saves time.
2. I used Aachi Lemon Rice Powder, you can use your choice.
3. Adding channa dal,curry leaves,Coriender leaves enhances the taste.
4. If your rice tastes tangy add some rice.
5. One more choice for you is ground nut,it's taste 's good. 

Instant Ragi-Onion Uttappam

I have watched  this recipe in one food channel. Today my hubby also went to work early. So I was not did any pre preparation for break fast. So I thought to make a Ragi Uttappam for me and my 1.5 yr old baby instantly. This will make your stomach full and Ragi is a healthy millet too. This recipe make helpful to bachelors ☺.

Preparation time : 15mnts            Cooking time:5 mnts
Total time : 20 mnts                         Serves: 2 to 3
Ingredients:
Sooji /Semolina - 1cup
Ragi flour - 3/4 cup
Onion -3 to 4
Green chilly-1 to 2 slit
Jeera-1/4 tsp
Curry leaves-4-5
Ginger -1/4 tsp grated
Mustard-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Baking soda-pinch
Water as required
Method:
1. Take a bowl and add semolina and curd mix well.
2. Add ragi flour,onion,ginger,mustard seeds,Jeera, green chilly,water mix it well.
3. Add sugar and salt ,keep aside for 5 to 10 minutes.
4. Now add curry leaves,baking soda mix well and prepare a batter neither too thick nor thin.

5. Pour batter on tava,spread it to Uttappam shape.
6. Once starts cooking,just mark the Uttappam by spatula, for cook evenly.
7. Flip and cook another side.

8. Serve hot with Chutney pudi/podi, curd or ghee.
Note:
* This is a Intant Uttappam so you should add more onion or veges.
* You can add capsicum or your choice vegetable for softness
* Curd not to be sour,otherwise Uttappam will tastes sour.
* Adding sugar will gives a nice taste to the Ragi Uttappam .
* Bachelors can skip some ingredients except mains 😉.
